I’m Maddy, a documentary-style wedding photographer based in Consett, County Durham - dog lover, exercise enthusiast, proud mum of two kiddos - Harry, 3 and Rosie, 14 (plus two fur babies - yes, I'm counting the Spaniels in this too!).
My vibe? Natural, vibrant, and full of heart. I photograph weddings just as they happen - the laughs, the tears, the chaos, and the calm - without forced poses or awkward moments - just honest, joy-filled storytelling.
Nooope! I've been a photographer for over a decade, and for the past two years I've been lucky enough to focus solely on weddings - and I've never looked back. I still get happy nerves before every ceremony, because your story matters. I want you to relive it all through your photos: the nerves, the excitement, and the pure joy.
When I’m not behind the lens, you’ll usually find me spending time with my little ones and pups, heading out on family walks, or soaking up the small, quiet moments that matter most. Those real-life bits - that’s what inspires me to tell your story with authenticity.

Many of my couples describe me as more than just a photographer - and it’s true. I’m there to fix necklace clasps, straighten ties, gather guests for group shots, keep the timeline on track, and offer a calming presence when needed. I’ve got plasters, mints, tissues, and probably a snack or two tucked away - just in case!
