Location Shoot: Shotley Grove, Consett

I recently captured some shots at Shotley Grove, Consett. I just had to share them with you! Whilst we've had some pretty disappointing weather lately, this particular day was clear and dry! The colours were absolutely beautiful: golden, crisp brown leaves and the perfect autumnal / winter setting of the woodland at Shotley Grove made these images something special!

The kids enjoyed running, holding hands, doing piggybacks, playing, throwing leaves up in the air and we even did a bit of leaf hunting to see who could find the biggest leaf, which brought out a little bit of competition and entertained the youngest of the group! We had so much fun. I did a bit of tree climbing and managed to capture some snaps with a pretty backdrop of the leaves and woodland beneath us!

I even got a big squeezy hug at the end!
